Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Scheduling Auditor for Patient Access Services in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Scheduling Auditor will Independently coordinate and assist in activities involved in the processing and implementation of new or modified physician templates. Effectively work with users to understand their questions/applications issues. Perform in-depth analysis of template management workflows and auditing to support the governance of templates. The Scheduling Auditor will work closely with other Leadership of the Patient Access Department as well as staff from clinical departments, project managers and staff to provide reports and updates as required
Scheduling Auditor Roles & Responsibilities:
- Independently coordinate and assist in the collection, processing and implementation of new or modified physician templates
- Ability to prioritize requests and projects and request assistance as needed.
- Effectively work with users to understand their questions/applications issues.
- Maintain templates daily by reviewing and monitoring for errors.
- Assist in preparations for data conversions, systems upgrades and new system implementations.
- Assist with testing when version enhancements are completed.
- Assist with Capacity Management of physician.
- Assist with training staff on template design and corrections.
- Assist in creating documentation for new processes upon completion of project.
- Update project tracking tool on a weekly basis with new project and status.
- Generate reports to assist in determining where new processes or templates would support improved operational or patient experience.
- Recommend changes to better meet customer needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years’ experience in a scheduling capacity or practice manager
- Strong PC experience and Microsoft Office: experience required including Access, Excel and PowerPoint, Word skills required.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to Detail/Process with strategic thinking and planning skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills
