Nashville General Hospital is hiring an Director of Operations for Ambulatory for full-time Day! 
  
The Director of Ambulatory Clinics is responsible for the successful management and operation of medical practices within the clinic enterprise. Responsible for managing the daily administrative and technical support sections of each clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. Anticipates and plan for future changes. Makes recommendations to improve customer service as appropriate.
As a Director, you will: 
  •  Responsible for all aspects of the ambulatory services function.
  • Creates standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs associated with the ambulatory services area.
  • Responsible for the overall development, implementation, and administration of the ambulatory outpatient clinics and services.
  • Plan, develop and direct Quality Improvement functions.
  • Provide leadership necessary to achieve national best practice performance levels of Patient Centered Medical Home Model (PCMH) while implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure that the quality of healthcare services rendered meets or exceeds professionally recognized community standards.
  • Plans strategies and objectives for the ambulatory services program.
  • Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives for the organization.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Required (BSN) 
  • Current RN license to practice in the State of Tennessee 
  • Minimum 3 or more years managing primary and specialty clinics including expansion of service lines. 
  • BLS certification required upon hire
