High School Diploma (Equivalent) or Higher - Required
Essential Functions: 
  • Provide high-level operational support for the Nashville General Hospital development activities.  
  • Assists with coordination of donations, donor acknowledgments, and stewardship activities within the highest standards and assists in the management of grant programs.
  • Manages logistics for special events in collaboration with the Annual Fund Staff.
  • Assist with internal and external team meetings and communication, including scheduling meetings and maintaining meeting agendas and notes.
  • Uses various software applications (e.g., spreadsheets, databases) to format data/reports.
  • Coordination of development activities, such as board meetings including developing agendas and summaries.
  • Manage fund development requests, payments, filing, and correspondence documentation.
  • Process invoices and payments.
  • Assist the Chief Development Officer in grant management.
  • Works on special projects and miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Operational Assistant, or similar role
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, creativity, and willingness to take on work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Proficiency in customer relationship software and knowledge of nonprofit operations is highly desirable.
