Role Description 
 
As an Accounts Payable Associate, you are to manage, strengthen and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers through accurate payments in a timely manner. You will work closely with various departments and vendors to ensure that the payments are made according to company policies and procedures. As a member of the Finance team, you will be tasked with new initiatives while sharing your knowledge with the team. 
To succeed in this role, you will need an eagerness to learn, improve and an openness to new challenges and opportunities. In addition, you will need a hands-on attitude and the ability to work as a team. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Receive and review invoices accurately and making sure that there is appropriate authorization for each invoice.
  • Processing, creating, and tracking the usage of purchase orders.
  • Maintenance of vendor relationships through detailed and precise email communication for invoice inquiries, payment status and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address vendor-related issues.
  • Assist with preparation and processing of payments by electronic transfer or other means.
  • Understand company policy related to employee’s personal expense reports and processing the expense reports.
  • Collecting invoices internally and booking credit card entries monthly.
  • Assistance in professional service expense tracking.
  • Ability to prepare expense figures accurately and in a timely manner for management.
  • Provide support for audits and control reviews related to accounts payable processes.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Previous experience related to accounts payable is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Great plains and management reporter.
  • Superior skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Comfortable working with deadlines.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
Good to have 
  • Working experience with Software Industry
  • Prior knowledge of Accounts Receivables & Its processes
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains
