QA Lead

  • Being the single point of contact and responsibility for the complete and complex testing of each client, live operations, and server release
  • Understanding of game client/server interactions and various test approaches
  • Communicating the status and risks of the release to the game team
  • Balancing project objectives and priorities with the release of the highest quality product
  • Working closely with the developers to ensure all areas of the software are tested
  • Writing and running of comprehensive test plans
  • Leading a team of remote testers
  • Extensive game testing that surfaces all bugs in the software
  • Extensive user experience and tuning testing that surfaces potential UX issues with the software
  • Bug regression and tracking to ensure all known issues have been addressed
  • Managing Open, Resolved, In Progress, Reopened issues in JIRA
  • Creation and management of JIRA Dashboards
  • Submission and release of the product to iTunes Connect and Google Play


  • Understanding of complex game systems (ie Hero skills, card battle games, gameplay loops)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and in small teams
  • Ability to change tasks quickly
  • Minimum of 4 years game testing experience
  • Minimum of 4 years mobile testing experience
  • Experience working with a LiveOps environment
  • Experience with both iOS and Android testing
