A Medical Staff Services Specialist at Munson Healthcare provides consultation and support to the Medical Staff President, Credentials Chairman, Medical Executive Committee of Munson Medical Center and maintains Medical Staff Bylaws documents, department rules and regulations, FPPE and OPPE reports, as well as disciplinary records. In addition, works with system level credentialing office to ensure standardization, promote best practice and quality monitoring/risk management, working closely with credentialing specialists with regard to the MSO/Morrisey system-wide database for trouble shooting and integration of new processes.
 
 
What’s Required:    
Experience/Education  
  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five years’ experience in medical staff services/or related field. Certified or eligible as a Certification Provider Credentialing Specialist or Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Manager (within timeframe of certification eligibility).
