What’s Required:
• Graduation from a state-approved nursing educational program
• Registered (or planning to register) to take the State Board licensing exam
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Clinical experience in a medical setting is desirable
• Medication administration and narcotic handling are restricted until RN licensure is obtained
 
What You’ll Do:
• Perform direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Collaborate with your RN preceptor on assessments, planning, and evaluations
• Communicate patient care findings and concerns to the supervising RN
• Assist with medication storage, stocking, and safety checks
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and the care team
• Promote personal and patient safety and use effective customer service skills
