A HME Operations Lead at Munson Healthcare supports Munson Home Health’s mission, vision, and values by overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Home Medical Equipment (HME) department. Responsibilities include coordinating warehouse operations, managing inventory, ensuring equipment delivery, maintenance, and cleaning, and maintaining accurate patient and service records. The position supervises staff competencies, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance, while ensuring adherence to CHAP standards and company policies. Additional duties include addressing patient and referral inquiries, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and producing operational reports to enhance service quality and patient satisfaction.
 
 
 
What’s Required:    
Experience/Education  
  • Home Medical Equipment Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a home medical equipment company
  • Previous warehouse/inventory experience preferred
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record
  • Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and an insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices in various weather conditions.
