Multimedia Video Production Engineer


Desired Experience


  • Has provided extensive engineering support in live, studio, and field productions, including setups, routing, comms, graphics and signal processing and general equipment operation
  • Has routinely performed troubleshooting and repairs on a wide variety of video, audio, lighting and related production equipment
  • Has solid understanding of computer operating systems including all Microsoft Windows versions, Apple OS versions, and Linux
  • Is proficient in the use of MS Office Suite including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and for the creation of drawings, reports and other documentation
  • Has the ability to think and work quickly and independently, to meet deadlines
  • Has the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and processes easily


A Suitable Individual Should Have Experience with The Following Technologies


  • Digital and analog video standards
  • Digital video switching systems
  • Camera control systems operations
  • Fiber optic standards for video and data
  • SAN, NAS, and Media file standards
  • Digital and analog audio systems
  • Digital audio networks including DANTE & AVB
  • IP network subnet structure
  • Web Streaming Protocols
  • Teradek and similar wireless transmission systems
  • Internet Protocol Television (IPTV)
  • Connectivity – from BNC to XLR to Phoenix to USB-C
  • Broadcast-level hardware installation and operation
  • C and Ku satellite signal parameters
  • CATV over copper
  • Cabling, “connectorizing”, soldering, labeling
