This is an 11 month project

SERVICENOW DEVELOPER


Looking for a ServiceNow developer to join the applications team.

Here is a high-level overview of the position. 

Duties:

This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for migrating Assets, Incidents, Contracts, and Change Requests from an existing Remedy implementation in to a new ServiceNow instance.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and training.
  • Function within a full software development life cycle.
  • Able to successfully and efficiently communicate both verbally and through written technical documentation with other team members and the customers.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of projects published/released.
  • Work closely with team lead to understand and implement project requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

  • Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience with Asset Management, Incident Management, Contract management, and Change Management within ServiceNow. Experience with creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.
  • Must understand and program with 508 compliance in mind.
  • Must be able to follow specifications, standards, and best practices from JSC and throughout the industry.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Asset Management, Incident Management, Contract management, and Change Management within ServiceNow. Experience with creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.
  • Experience with migrating from either Remedy or other service management tools in to ServiceNow. Experience with upgrading both major and minor versions of ServiceNow.

EDUCATION

Requires a Bachelors degree with at least 7 years of experience preferred in the field.
