Sales Arborist – Monster Tree Service of  Alexandria

Monster Tree Service of Alexandria has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales Arborist who will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, estimating job costs, and achieving budgeted sales goals for your territory. This is accomplished through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and prospects.  

Responsibilities:   

• Build and implement a Territory Sales Plan for his/her territory in conjunction with Franchise Owner.  
• Assist owner with ongoing marketing programs to drive new business.
• Diagnose and provide on-site estimates for General Tree Care and Plant Health Care-related services, review the scope of work with customers.  
• Collaborate with Crew Leader to ensure scope and scale are properly documented for the customer. 
• Actively pursue the customer commitment to scheduling the work.  
• Review neighboring properties for work opportunities.  
• Utilize sales process tools, software, and other technologies to streamline the process for the customer.  
• Partner with other local businesses in adjacent industries to drive additional sales. 
• Attend home shows and other opportunities to demonstrate Monster Tree Service capabilities.  
• Maintain arborist and industry certification(s) through continuing education credits.    

Qualifications:   

• Minimum of 2 years of industry sales experience or 5 years of related industry experience  
• Bachelor’s Degree in the green industry or related field is preferred but not required
• Prior field and supervisory experience preferred  
• ISA Certification or the ability to obtain one  
• CTSP is desired but not required
• Virginia State Pesticide Applicator and/or Fertilizer Applicator License a plus
• Excellent communication skills  
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
