The Seasonal Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the community pool is being enjoyed by residents while upholding the rules & regulations of the property.

Schedule:  Tuesday – Sunday from 11AM to 7PM from now until end of season Labor Day weekend

Compensation: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all pool rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
• Open, close, and secure pool gates according to the official pool hours
• Inspect and ensure that pool safety equipment such as a life ring, rescue pole hook or any other safety equipment required by local laws are present and in good working condition
• Check pool passes, of all people to ensure they are authorized to use it
• Ensure that residents do not have more than two (2) guests and that the resident is present during guest usage
• Make sure that the amount of people in the pool area does not exceed the limit permitted by local code
• Skim debris from the pool as needed with net
• Straighten up and leave the pool area in neat and orderly condition at the beginning and end of each work shift
• Report any damaged equipment such as but not limited to chairs, tables, umbrellas, ladders, etc. to the Property Manager within 24 hrs. or immediately if it poses a health & safety issue

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

• MUST BE A CERTIFIED LIFEGUARD
• Must have keen attention to detail
• This position requires high alertness while on duty
• Must be okay working outside during summer days
• Comfortable operating the pool skimmer
