Monarch Investment and Management is looking to hire a top-tier Marketing Analyst to set the foundation for effective decision-making throughout the marketing department. Through deep data analysis, system audits, strength/weakness assessment, summary reporting, and recommendation of potent solutions, the Marketing Analyst supports the team in shaping effective growth-oriented strategies. The Marketing Analyst is a real-life wizard— someone who can take raw data and transform it into valuable marketing insights that ultimately inform decision-making processes and increase ROI.
 
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partners with internal teams and regional leadership to ensure that all available digital marketing resources are being maximized and used in an efficient manner.
  • Builds and refines attribution models, then suggests alternatives as needed.
  • Audits and tests digital marketing systems.
  • Executes A/B testing of websites, landing pages, digital touchpoints, and all creative assets.
  • Manages all aspects of reputation management platforms and provides accurate reporting, troubleshooting, and supportive service.
  • Maintains rigorous quality control over all related data, analyses, and metrics, including ongoing evaluation of data accuracy and workflow processes.
  • Performs ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed, including, but not limited to, ROI analysis, benchmarking, KPI YoY analysis, and monthly marketing reports.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve upon data collection, analysis, and identification of red flags & action items. Proposes solutions as needed.
  • Masters current company technology and assists in implementing new technological tools that enhance the modeling, analysis, and reporting of financial information.
  • Employs consistent compliance to the Monarch Professional Behavioral Standards and models servant leadership on a daily basis.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None / Expected to mentor and train subordinate marketing team members who may not have a clear grasp on data. You will coach them on how to interpret the data and make the best decisions in regards to ROI.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a field related to data analytics
  • 1-2 years of experience working in marketing data analysis or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in multifamily
  • Advanced, ninja-like proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Data Studio
  • Primary understanding of web design and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to:
  • Answer data requests in an efficient and creative manner
  • Draw insights out of a complex data set, sometimes based on vague and difficult requests from superiors
  • Operate major online marketing channels
  • Manage lead generation on ad platforms which drives qualified sales
  • Create useful narratives out of data and generate buy-in from your audience
  • Surface marketing insights and present them to Monarch departments with appropriate recommendations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively at all times (both in speech and writing)
  • Minimize environmental distractions in order to complete work and remain focused
  • Assist and support marketing department teammates with various projects
  • Attend to all relevant requests in a timely manner
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience analyzing marketing or data at a deep level
  • Experience and technical knowledge of Google Adwords and other analytics platforms
  • A strong desire to gain experience within the multifamily industry
