Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. We are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are looking for a managing partner, client leadership & strategy. 

We are seeking an experienced Clead Lead with at least 10 years media agency experience or more. The Media Planning Lead will be responsible for client growth and operations as well as oversee a team that will be developing and executing comprehensive media plans for our client.. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong account management and proven expertise in leading and growing key accounts.
 
Overview of job          
You will be client lead for key accounts as well as being part of our strategy team. Besides account, revenue management and maintaining high quality of planning and delivery, you will lean in on key accounts and new business development where strategy is imperative.

This role reports to the Managing Director, Mindshare SG

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Created relationships with key clients
  • Set your own agenda and roadmap for growth of the accounts

In six months, you would have:

  • Actively contributing to new business and key accounts on strategy
  • Identify a pipeline of commercially viable solutions to support our clients’ goals

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Improved our NPS scores for key accounts
  • Been described as our clients’ lead strategy partner selected key accounts
  • Created & executed a pipeline of innovative campaign or solutions which has strong commercial or awards potential
Responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for building trusted relationships, orchestrating cross-functional teams, monitoring ongoing client feedback, owning the client experience framework
  • Responsible for driving business planning, identifying sources of growth and building the joint business plan with the client to deliver growth for the client and the agency.
  • Informs the digital transformation agenda and part of initiatives from initial maturity diagnostic to roadmap to achieving the desired future state.  Areas of transformation could include digital marketing, customer experience and data analytics etc
  • Work with strategists to develops communication strategy routed in consumer insight and culture. Thought leadership on future landscape. Innovation and Invention to win at Cannes. Recommends cross platform content ideas.
  • Drive thought leadership on future landscape.
  • Deliver campaigns that are steeped in Innovation and Invention so showcase agency and win industry recognition and awards.
  • Responsible for flawless, timely and profitable operations.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing measurement diagnostics, measurement framework design and tracking to include ROI, brand health and business performance analysis for our clients.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and media partners.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the media planning team, fostering a culture of growth and development.

What you will need:

  • At least 8-10 years’ work experience in agency, of which at least 3-4 years have been in media agencies
  • Experienced in media strategy, communications planning, integrated planning, with a strong understanding of digital channels
  • Good knowledge of Singapore and Asia’s media landscape
  • Experience in managing and succeeding with large projects, such as annual plans
  • Comfortable leading high profile accounts that require resilience and high EQ
  • Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners
  • Shows a depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Can manage numerous projects concurrently and consistently to deliver high quality work to deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and clients
  • A clear and concise style of writing with confident, persuasive presentation skills
