To aid our strong growth trajectory, we are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned professional for a Senior Manager of Sales Operations role based in our Palo Alto, CA offices. This role will report into the VP of Sales Operations and work closely with the sales, marketing and finance leadership of the company supporting and expanding the sales operations function




The Senior Manager is a key functional role within the MetricStream’s sales, marketing and partner organization:


The responsibilities include:


Sales Process Definition and Governance

·           Define, establish and expand scalable sales processes, operational cadences

·           Provide governance on adoption and compliance of sales processes


Sales analytics/reporting

·           Leverage customer and financial data to develop insights for sales/marketing leadership and field sales managers

·           Develop dashboards and reporting designed to efficiently provide leadership with the insights needed to manage and improve sales and marketing efforts

Sales enablement

·           Develop a central repository of existing tools and materials for field sales managers and team members; develop new tools and materials as needed

·           Create sales process playbooks for field sales management and sales team members

·           Oversee the development and ongoing management of sales and sales management onboarding and training programs

Sales territory design/account and prospect prioritization

·           Collaborate with field sales managers to ensure that territories (e.g. named account lists) are optimized

·           Support field sales managers in managing the ongoing process of account assignments and transitions

CRM and Lead to Revenue Systems optimization/management

·           Drive improvement in adoption and functionality of systems across Lead to Revenue

·           Lead implementation of key systems to drive process automation

·           Support field sales managers in efforts to drive CRM usage and compliance


Experience and Skills


·       Experience in a fast growth SAAS company in Sales Operations, in the $100M+ revenue range

·       BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred

·       Big picture skills combined with attention to detail

·       Hands on experience with SFDC, excel analysis and power-point

·       Demonstrable experience driving change and process improvements

·       Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the key drivers of business growth

·       Experience managing and/or implementing CRM systems

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Products, Services)
