VP of Marketing

MetricStream is looking for a VP of Marketing with a proven track record of growing a SaaS product company through both traditional and digital marketing. You will lead a global team of marketing professionals to define, execute, and manage MetricStream’s brand and solution messaging, demand generation programs, product marketing, PR, and analyst relationships. You will set the strategy to position MetricStream as the thought leader in the GRC industry collaborating closely with Sales, Development, Partners, Services, and Customer Success teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns to increase market penetration, value realization, and customer retention
  • Identify opportunities and recommend approaches to scale marketing programs across target geographical markets and focus industries that support the achievement of quarterly and annual goals
  • Drive thought leadership, demand generation, and positioning, solidifying MetricStream’s competitive advantage
  • Align organization around customer centricity using data and analytics to deliver customer experiences, as well as measurable business results
  • Develop and disseminate messaging for new and existing products, and invite customers and influencers to participate in the narrative while promoting brand relevance and consistency
  • Lead and develop a strategy and execution plan for content, messaging, channel, and digital
  • Manage the development of creative assets, sales collateral, presentations, client success stories, and other sales tools to enhance sales team efforts
  • Lead an inside sales team, establishing strategy, goals and delivering to commitments
  • Improve brand awareness and quality of all internal and external communications
  • Demonstrate the function’s reach across the business across functions and inspire and influence C-level executives, Development, Customer Success, and Sales leadership

 Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years of broad-based marketing experience, with 8+ years in senior management roles
  • Significant experience in a SaaS-based company
  • GRC domain or adjacent domain experience preferred
  • Ability to influence and work closely with Analysts, Customers, Partners, and Sales
  • Led global and remote teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Results-oriented approach with a proven ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering, BA/BS in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • MBA is highly desired
