• New Sherman location open 8a-8p Mon-Fri and 8a-2p Sat, closed on Sunday
• Part time Medical Assistant, MA schedule: Every Saturday 10a-2P and 2 days during the week (12hr shift 7:30a-8p or 4p-8p) variable; rotating holidays.
• Mercy Health Urgent Care will invest in your training and education, certifications obtained over time are:
  • NIOSH Certification for pulmonary function testing
  • CAOHC Certification
  • TB Test Certification
  • DOT Drug Test Collector Certification
  • DOT Breath Alcohol Technician
  • 2nd shift hours required
    • Extra $1/hr for 2nd shift hours
      
      Position Summary:
      Medical Assistants works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in a clinic or practice environment. MA's are expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
      
      What Medical Assistants, MAs will do:
      • Room set up and patient preparation
      • Taking vitals
      • Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations.
      • Performing office tests
      • Administrative duties
        
        What Medical Assistants, MAs will need:
        • High School diploma or equivalent AND
        • Successful completion of an accredited certified Medical Assistant program.
        • Be able to obtain RMA (AMT) or CMA (AAMA) certification within 90 days of hire.
        • 2 years of Medical Assisting experience preferred
