Position Summary: Provides for the care, diagnosis and safety of patients. Collects, processes and analyzes blood, body fluids, tissues and excrements. Analyzes, validates and reports laboratory results in compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations and standards.

What you will do:- Properly identifies and decontaminates instruments through use of washer/decontaminor equipment and proper hand washing techniques .
- Assembles instruments correctly insuring proper cleanliness and function is achieved
- Anticipates and prioritizes instrument and supply needs using surgery lists, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) computer system and inventories levels of instruments.

What you will need:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in Central Service Processing or direct experience at a Sterile Processing tech for at least 1 year.
- Membership in Central Service Processing professional organization, preferred
