Mercy Health Position Summary
Under the direction of a Registered Pharmacist, assists Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors and staff.
Education
Minimum High school education or equivalent.
Preferred Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
Credentials/Licensure
Minimum Fully licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in the State of Michigan. Currently employed Pharmacy Technicians at Mercy Health may also satisfy this requirement with a Limited Pharmacy Technician Licensure.
