The Sterile Processing Manager is responsible for the activities of the Surgical Services Sterile Processing department, including 24-hour accountability for facilitating patient care delivery, planning, and evaluation of services for Surgical Services and other patient care areas requiring decontamination, preparation and sterilization. Provides instrumentation, supplies, and equipment necessary within the surgical environment.
Education
Minimum: Bachelor degree required.
Credentials/Licensure
Minimum: Five years' experience as a Processing Technician. Certification as a Processing Technician, Certified Processing Leadership.
Related Experience
Minimum: Five years management experience with documented success managing associate performance and behaviors; demonstrated knowledge of process improvement including LEAN principles; demonstrated skills in ensuring quality and customer service standards are met.
