Building Maintenance Tech

  1. *Perform facilities maintenance and repairs. General duties include but not limited to:

    • Regular maintenance of building restrooms.
    • Lubricates locks and hinges on doors.
  • Service light fixtures and replace bulbs. 
  • Patch and paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
  • Repair and/or replace pipes and plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


  1. *Perform a variety of building/facilities support functions. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Setup/breakdown/moves of office furniture and equipment.
  • Set up training and conference rooms for meetings and other events as needed.
  • Operate power washer.
  • Remove trash from grounds on days when landscaping is not on site. 
  • Clean up spills and assist with janitorial needs between janitorial contracted hours.
  1. *Assist in the remodel, repair and maintenance of buildings and structures. Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Repair and install drywall.
    • Cut and install framing.


  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
  • Measure, cut and install carpeting and other flooring materials.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus.
  • Working knowledge of routine building maintenance methods and practices.
  • Prior work experience demonstrating ability to perform various maintenance and repair functions. 
  • Basic ability to use personal computer, ability to learn software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency with hand power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and to contribute in a team environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities.
  • Must demonstrate regular and reliable attendance. Additional hours, including overtime, may be required depending on workload.
