Position at The State

The position is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair and upkeep of all equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of product. 

‚ÄčEnsures equipment meets electrical compliance code, is proficient in the use of hand/power tools and testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes. Must be able to read schematics and trouble shoot equipment problems.

Associates degree in Industrial Electricity or related field, and 3 years of experience in an industrial environment as Electrician preferred.  Must possess strong communication skills and mathematical aptitude.  

Position requires standing up to 2/3 of shift on concrete floors, the ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and/ or crawl in order to access machinery. Must also be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 65 pounds.   

Work schedule is 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., five nights per week, rotating days off; weekends and holidays included and on-call duties required.  Overtime may be required.
