Job Description

Coordinates the design development and/or assists in providing technical direction to the scope of projects; provides mid-level technical know-how on all project aspects. Preparing work plans, technical reports, and Project Manuals (Design Specifications). Serve as task leader for complex projects including assessment, remediation, design, and compliance projects. Assist with development of proposals and engineering/construction cost estimates. Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, clients and regulatory agencies. Excellent organization and operations planning skills. Self-starter, detailed oriented, and finisher. OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training certification. Comfortable using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc).

Qualifications
BS Degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering. The qualified candidate must have 8-10+ years of experience. Strong consulting background with at least 6 years of progressive experience and increased responsibility. Recommended, but not required: 3-5 years experience in the following: Groundwater flow model construction and calibration using finite difference or finite element packages such as MODFLOW or GMS, respectively, Contaminant transport simulation using MT3D, RT3D, or other similar packages, Experience using MODFLOW preprocessors such as Groundwater Vistas, Visual Modflow, or GMS
