Description

As a Staff level Technical Support Engineer, candidate must be capable of working on complex problems with little support or supervision. Must be a self starter and able to fix, train, and manage customer problems up to and including travel to the sites or working in our lab. They will provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Must have 10+ years of semiconductor equipment experience of repairing semiconductor equipment. Any additional responsibilities assigned. 

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements:

·         Successful completion of required Safety training.<b

·         Ensure equipment and machines are maintained in safe operating condition.<b

·         Report to the Safety Officer any unsafe or unhealthy condition which cannot be corrected.<b

·         Follow all safety and health regulations and work practices, including personal protective equipment where applicable.
