Account Executive

Seeking a strong Account Executive to join the growing integrated team on the agency’s telecom account. The ideal candidate possesses shopper-marketing experience and a mastery of agency process that will allow them to effectively lead large projects and play an active role in managing the client relationship. Candidates should have experience with executing large and small-scale in-store projects and/or digital elements from start to finish, independently. Candidates should be naturally curious, have a heart for problem-solving, and possess an interest in category trends and best practices in shopper marketing.





  • Forge effective partnerships and demonstrate exemplary behavior in collaborating with creative, production, studio, finance, etc.
  • Partner with peers at client’s other agencies/vendors as needed to ensure cohesion, timely delivery and alignment
  • Promote Match's culture of transparency and sharing among peers
  • Anticipate, identify and escalate emerging issues as appropriate to team leadership and other impacted functions


Client Relationships

  • Begin developing a deep understanding of the client’s business, brands, competition and consumers
  • Bring innovative thinking and problem-solving against our client’s business challenges; consistently work to bring new solutions to the forefront of the account landscape
  • Leverage working relationships with regular client contacts to help accomplish the agency’s project goals


Project Management

  • Demonstrate an ability to manage complex assignments, work on multiple initiatives and play a central role in driving client satisfaction (specifically focused on retail)
  • Deliver flawless execution of projects, particularly promotional kits, while adhering to and championing agency processes and protocol
  • Execute regular project-related documents including briefs, conference reports, estimates, status and timelines
  • Help prepare and deliver internal and external presentations on subject matter related to core responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the client’s brand and category to guide and evaluate the internal team’s work
  • With support from Account Supervisor, begin monitoring account-specific financial data and communicating relevant issues where appropriate


Selling the Agency

  • Work to understand direct client needs, focusing efforts on delivering high service levels and achieving satisfaction
  • Begin to identify areas of opportunity that fit with Match's capabilities, bringing them to the attention of agency leadership where appropriate
