Summary/Objective
The Sales Representative is directly responsible the sales of aglime and construction aggregates while maintaining the market share and average selling price for their assigned territory.

- Responsible for meeting sales and volumes expectations for the District
- Developing an accurate sales forecast
- Effectively communicating with internal and external customers.
- Understand the quality control specifications and standards for both agricultural lime products and construction aggregates.
- Have basic knowledge of the aggregate mining and production process.
- Accurately develop and track the sales project cycle to meet product balance with operations.
- Responsible for meeting Average Selling Price, Gross Profit, and Pricing expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customer base.
- Responsible for collections.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates 80% of the time in aggregate production facilities or customer job site locations. 20% of the time will be in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This role routinely spends most of the day in a car going between appointments and scouting potential projects. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software is important in this role.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours typically worked are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel
Travel will be frequent and primarily within the Nebraska Area. Out-of-area and overnight travel will be expected from time to time.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
