What to expect:
 
Martin Marietta is seeking an Office Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Plant Manager. This individual will manage all daily, weekly and monthly administrative support and general accounting functions and operational financial analyses.
 
A typical day for a(n) Office Manager may include:
 
·         Performing duties related to computerized records maintenance, office management, accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, truck scale sales/shipping documentation, general ledger, production, finished goods/parts/supplies inventories, purchasing, and preparation of government and other regulatory reports as required.
·         Assisting in preparation of any reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial and variance results analyses. 
·         Implementing and maintaining administrative procedures and internal controls in accordance with company policies and procedures
·         Assisting with monthly forecast and month end close for each quarry
·         Assisting shop admin with data entry and entering/reconciling receipts
·         Clearing the Account Payable invoices on hold, preparing monthly General Ledger reconciliations and maintaining SOX compliance
·         Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed 
·         Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor 
You may be a good fit if you:
 
·         Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
·         Have experience in office management, accounting, accounts payables/receivables or other relevant experience
·         Are proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and general accounting
