Position Summary
This position is responsible for the delivery of buses to MacAllister, customers, and repair vendors.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety checks on buses and equipment
- Courteously delivering buses to directed sites
- Deliver and pickup buses in a safe and timely manner
- When necessary fuel buses and complete delivery documentation
- Complete any and all special assignments or project from store manager in a timely manner
- Test driving buses/trucks for service department to ensure they are ready for customer pick up
- Assist with parts pick at other MacAllister or 3rd party vendor locations
- Assist with parts delivery to customers
- Organize, stage, and prepare buses for delivery on the lot as requested by Lead Administrator or manager
Position Requirements
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required through a high school education with some technical training
- Class B CDL with air brake and public passenger endorsements
- Minimum 6 months of experience driving a bus or similar equipment
- Familiarity with delivery areas would be helpful as well as the ability to read and understand maps of the city and surrounding areas
- Strong customer service and clear communication skills
- Available M-F 7:00am-4:00pm

- Safe operation of delivery vehicle and all pieces of equipment used in the process of delivering material
- Understanding of and the ability to follow DOT regulations that pertain to the position
- Ability to perform basic bus inspections prior to and after delivery completion
- Knowledge of service department systems and processes
Physical Requirements of Position:
- Day travel: 75-100%
- Overnight travel: 0-25%
Occasional (typically monthly):
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Climbing on ladders, equipment
