Client Accounts Payable Associate

Description

The Client Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of client Accounts Payable transactions. This includes the entry of vendor bills received by the client, download/data entry and accurate coding of client credit card transactions for expenses, and processing client employee expense reports. In addition, the Client Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for proper recording of use tax for compliance filing and ensuring that W-9 forms are received from new vendors prior to initial payments being issued.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing of vendor bills received for payment
  • Processing of employee expense reports received for payment
  • Downloading and coding of credit card transactions
  • Review of monthly A/P ledgers for missing routine bills
  • New vendor setup
  • W-9 administration
  • Draft 1099 vendor report preparation for review by Accounting Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience
  • Previous Sales and Use Tax filing and 1099 filing experience
  • Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task and to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
