The Sr. Administrative Assistant - Client Support role is an important position combining direct Executive support and Client Contact & Support duties. This individual will work with accounting firm partners and Lurie team members to support the firm and to provide exceptional service to our clients outside of the firm.  Proactive problem solving and the ability to anticipate C-level needs will be necessary to develop the relationship of trust required with the Partners, Administrative Team and the Firm staff.  Coordinators will oversee client relations, correspondence, meeting set-up, billing, and general administrative duties.  

 
Location: On-site, Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Sr. Administrative Assistant - Client Support candidate, you will:

  • Provide excellent service to all firm clients and oversee all forms of client communication
  • Act as the first impression and a point of contact for all new and existing clients and internal employees
  • Provide Executive email and calendar management
  • Coordinate the delivery of client work between all parties involved – Partners to staff
  • Work directly with clients and partners to schedule, reschedule and plan for meetings
  • Manage a highly complex calendar and scheduling of meetings with all levels internal and external
  • Travel coordination of flights, hotels, vehicles, conference fees, etc.
  • Work directly with clients to troubleshoot and help resolve client questions
  • Ensure communications, updates and schedule changes are clearly relayed between clients, partners and staff
  • Yearly compliance project tracking, including tax returns & audit reports
  • Oversee monthly internal, project and client billing
  • Yearly CPE & CFE tracking for partner
  • Expense report generation & monthly credit card reconciliation

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 2-5 years of experience working directly with clients
  • 2-5 years of professional administrative experience
  • Experience working in a professional service organization, supporting individuals at the partner level strongly desired such as legal assistant or public accounting
  • Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial business is a plus
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
  • Flexibility to work approximately 100 hours of overtime over the course of one year (possible nights and weekends)
