The Role: 

Join the Color, Materials, Finish (CMF) team to build a revolutionary color and cosmetic inspection system that involves computer vision, color science, and human-computer interaction. In this role you will learn how fantastic products roll out at Logitech, the challenges faced with ensuring product quality, and how Logitech tackles these challenges. Starting from industry design and material selection, through industry process, and to end user products, you will have the opportunity to learn how Logitech develops products with stylish design language and outstanding user experience. The internship will be a splendid journey full of challenges and fun! 

Your Contribution:

  • Research solutions related to optical inspection and computer vision.

  • Collect necessary data for analysis.

  • Python for image processing and data analysis.

  • Develop user facing applications with Python.

  • Documentation of the finding/summary during the internship.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Master or PhD in computer science, related or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in building user facing applications is preferred.

  • Strong background in Python, numpy, OpenCV, and image processing

  • Knowledge of statistics

  • Able to break down complex issues into manageable items.

  • Assess new concepts, make proposals with theoretical analysis and build verification plans.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Be able to communicate in English with foreigners, in writing and speaking.

Education:

  • Master or PhD in computer science, optical engineering, color science, or related field.
