  • Be a part of IT CRM team and work with the Customer Care Business Group to analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements & issues, design solutions.
  • Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required
  • Provide Tier 1 support to the business users in case of Priority 1 issues with the system.
  • Mastery of ecommerce implementation specifically on Demandware platform.
  • Experience in B2B, B2C, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of demandware eCommerce applications
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain and modify computer programs of high complexity, significance and risk
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and sprint based project delivery
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
  • At least 5+ years experience working in the IT industry
  • Knowledgeable of SFCC architecture and API are a must.
  • Should have integrated SFCC with other third-party applications using Rest/SOAP API, SFCC OCAPI, Salesforce Commerce API.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce's suite of products across all SDLC phases.
  • Develop templates and content slots using ISML, Javascript/Jquery, HTML, XML, AJAX, and integrate with Pipelines/Controllers on Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Hands-on in the backend code of SFCC/SFRA
  • Advanced API (REST and SOAP) skills.
  • Proficient in Web Services, JSON, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems and Cloud Platforms (Git, Mercurial, JIRA, Confluence, Git Hub, Bit Bucket, Gulp, Jenkins).
  • Experience with business manager and data migration in Salesforce.
  • Ecommerce development experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently without constant supervision and micromanagement
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with remote IT and business team members
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service mentality
  • This position will be located in Chennai, India.
In addition, preferable skills and behaviours include:
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience
  • Certified Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer
  • Work experience using standard Java, JQuery,HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/CSS practices
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or higher or equivalent
