• In current Keyboard market, Mechanical Keyboard is geting to be the mainstream, with the benefit on typing feeling and sound. To stay in our leadership position, we consistently push the limits to extend our knowledge in identifying and quantifying the parameters that deliver a great typing experience with innovative design, and we are expecting you to join this technology exploration.

Major Duties:

• Review current Mechanical Keyboard designs in market - The user trend. 

• Review current typing feeling and sound of Keyboard in market.

• Review current Switch and Mechancial design of the Keyboard housing in market.

• Capture the parameters for typing feeling and sound.

• Support the the design and simulate typing feeling and sound by prototype. 

• Support Develop user test plan to support thetest.

Qualification & Skills:

• Potential candidate should be graduate level with a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar, candidate finishing 3rd year on a degree course could be considered.

• An interest in acoustic design and technology is of particular interest.

• Knowledge in areas of prototyping and testing is a plus

• Active or heavy user for Mechanical Keyboard prefered. 

• Proactive and willing to learn. 

• Good english writing and reading skills. 

• Ability for 3D CAD (Pro/E or others) if possible.

Background:

• This is a 6 month contract position, duration to be reviewed during interview.
