The audio embedded software engineering group is seeking a talented Engineering Validation and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. Based in our Chennai office, you will lead the development of your team and establish robust tools and processes to ensure that our brand delivers innovation at the highest level of quality and reliability, meeting the expectations of our valued customers.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our embedded software team, conducting engineering validation during the early stages of product development. With full access to the design and product source code, your team will not only identify weaknesses, but also propose and implement effective solutions. As part of our international organization, you will engage in cross-functional collaboration with electrical, acoustical, and digital signal processing engineering teams worldwide. • Recruit and oversee a team of test and validation engineers, with an initial goal of 5 engineers, while being flexible to expand the team as per business needs.

• Engage in the early stages of product design and strategize the seamless integration of your team into the development process.

• Elevate standards by identifying opportunities for product and process enhancements, and work closely with other functional managers to implement these improvements.

• Foster a team of highly driven and enthusiastic engineers dedicated to delivering exceptional products and experiences that set a global benchmark.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in building and leading an engineering validation team

• Great communication skills

• Proven track record in successfully delivering consumer electronics products

• Proficiency in software development management tools, including JIRA and GitHub

• Fundamental knowledge of programming languages, particularly C and Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in embedded software development tools and techniques.

• Deep expertise in audio and wireless technologies.
