Provide business partner consultation to the leadership and management teams for organizational design, team development, and building a culture, which inspires and motivates employees and achieves business results.  Must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business.  Responsible for collaborating with HR colleagues to build, implement and maintain premier HR services in employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development and workforce planning.

  • Effectively acts as an HR consultant to client groups while having the ability to develop, manage and implement HR programs in day to day work.
  • Partners, supports and leads in developing and delivering HR strategies and programs.
  • Brings an objective HR perspective in managing business problems and challenges, as well as recognizing and effectively balancing the client group’s interests with the needs of the company.
  • Advise, coach and guide management in best practice performance management and management techniques.  Counsels management on disciplinary actions ensuring consistency and adherence to policies. 
  • Identify, evaluate and participate in human resource policy, program and standards development in partnership with colleagues in HR, Legal and Finance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and address improper actions to minimize company risk.
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations and guide conflict resolution.
  • Determine appropriate compensation structure.  Design and implement compensation programs to attract and retain talent pool.
  • Work with management on defining development needs and implement programs and training.
  • Provide organizational feedback and input to ensure programs and policies are aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
  • BS/BA preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business or related field is required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of HR Generalist experience with strong competencies in employee relations and compensation.
  • Advanced computer skills including expertise using multiple communication technologies.
  • Experience in compensation design and implementation of compensation structure and total reward programs.
  • Background working in high tech, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
