Lincoln Research Management Office (RMO) is a small, specialised team tasked with enabling Lincoln’s researchers to achieve success.  The team will collectively facilitate connections between researchers and external parties, assist with converting research outputs into beneficial outcomes, and ensuring the research expertise within Lincoln is accessible and utilised.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to position the University so that it has the best chance of securing monies from its traditional key research funders and new commercial and/or philanthropic research sources. You will be responsible for building a pipeline of new business from those funding leads, and recommending and leading the establishment of any appropriate legal structures that need may need developing in order to meet eligibility requirements.

 

You will provide expert advice on, and project manage the development, writing and submission of proposals in response to these funding opportunities.   You will have proven ability to initiate, manage and deliver business-oriented performance and outcomes, and consistently grow revenue research.  You will also demonstrate a successful track record as the primary securer of research funding, be it from public or private sources or similar.
