General Manager (GM)-CCaaS

The General Manager (GM) CCaaS for Lifesize will be expected to manage the entire operation of the business unit: all functional departments, business strategy, tactical and operational execution.  As the top executive of the division, the GM will be responsible for the overall performance of the CCaaS business and will manage its growth.   In that capacity, the GM will be expected to work closely with the CEO and Board to craft the growth strategy and eventual equity event.

Responsibilities

‒    Leadership and executive oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Lifesize CCaaS business.

‒    Overseeing strategy, product development, marketing, packaging and pricing, and alliances for CCaaS business lines.

‒    Driving strategy and growth for the business units, managing a cross-functional global team, including engineering, product marketing, operations, product, and UX.

‒    Partner closely with all department heads to achieve success.

‒    Scaling business unit to its growth potential.

‒    Identifying strategic partnerships opportunities to increase revenues.

‒    Identifying opportunities for go to market synergy and growth.

‒    Serving as the face of the business with frequent visits to clients and influencers.

‒    Creating and executing a marketing strategy to build awareness of the business unit.

‒    Leveraging the resources of parent company to accelerate growth.

‒    Team building - developing the existing team and executives and recruiting to fill gaps.

‒    Further, the GM will successfully position the business such that it could be an attractive acquisition candidate while building a fundamentally sound business that would also be attractive to the public markets.

Qualifications 

‒    Experienced CCaaS P&L leader with at least 4-6 years of SaaS GM and 20 yrs of overall experience

‒    Strong background in Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations in the CCaaS industry

‒  Strong leader and team builder with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams globally

‒  Excellent communicator

‒  Capable of dealing with rapid pace of product innovation and implementation

‒  Fluency in product and solutions provided

‒  The ability to view the business through eyes of the customer

‒  Person who thrives operating in a dynamic environment of aggressive timelines and constant change

‒  The ability to cut through staggering amounts of data to zero in on the critical few

‒  Demonstrated growth performance and orientation

‒  Hands on with strategic capabilities

‒  Demonstrated maximization/mastery of CCaaS and SaaS Metrics

‒  North America/ EMEA experience

‒  Strong demonstrated Master Agent/ Channel experience

‒  Multi-platform experience

‒  Must have a technology background in CCaaS

Other desirable experience

‒  IPO/ Sale process experience

‒  M&A integration experience

Education/Certifications

‒    MBA or other advanced degree from a top tier program and an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field are desirable.
