Description:  The IT intern assists the Information Technology department in day-to-day operations in supporting the technology systems for Layton Construction.

 Duties:

• Assists in imaging and initial computer setup for new hires and computer upgrades
• Assists in printing labels, boxes and ships new computers
• Performs basic computer troubleshooting
• Provides assistance in onsite computer setup
• Sets up new user accounts on the network and email
• Works with the help desk to provide onsite assistance to end users
• Updates the helpdesk ticketing system
• Performs basic repairs on computer systems
• Assists in pulling network cable, and installing network jacks

Qualifications

• Required: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in University.
• Prior internship preferred but not necessary.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
