Corporate Compliance Manager

Lannett Company, Inc. is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated professional to join our team as a Corporate Compliance Manager in our Philadelphia, PA facility to develop, implement and manage the company’s corporate compliance program in a manner consistent with company policy and applicable laws, regulations and guidance. Individual will be assisting in the development of compliance policy as well as directing efforts to identify, assess and manage compliance related activities, including through risk assessment, implementation of effective policies and procedures, training and education, and monitoring. Candidates must be able to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders on the state of the compliance program and develop action plans to manage compliance risks.



  1. Manage the company’s corporate compliance program to meet the requirements of local, state and federal laws and regulations
  2. Design, implement, and manage a corporate compliance monitoring program
  3. Create and manage standard operating procedures and/or best practices related to corporate compliance
  4. Develop and execute risk assessments and review of compliance risk areas to determine need for improvement, in consultation and coordination with internal and external audit groups
  5. Prepare reports of compliance activities with metrics
  6. Counsel and provide leadership for business partners on compliance process issues
  7. Perform investigations of potential compliance issues in accordance with company policy
  8. Work closely with the Legal department to ensure appropriate legal risk management
  9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess proposed programs and activities
  10. Provide training to all stakeholders on compliance requirements
  11. Stay well-informed of laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and suggest revisions as required



  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution; law degree or post-graduate degree preferred.
  • Must possess a high level of familiarity with a broad range of compliance risk areas, in particular relating to commercial practices of a U.S. business.
  • Must have five years or more of experience in corporate compliance in the pharmaceutical industry, including the implementation and management of compliance programs and monitoring systems.
  • Must have the ability to operate independently and build strong networks throughout the organization.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Must have strong project management skills.
  • Must have proficient computer skills, including MS Office tools and SharePoint.
