The SAP Techno Functional Business Analyst works on a team responsible for performing a full range of activities in the above skill areas ensuring technology based operational effectiveness and excellence for the Lannett Technology Team.  The ERP Analyst will provide support for ongoing operations as well as project initiatives and will direct and review the activities and work products of outsourced personnel.  This role will be responsible for both functional and technical configuration and debugging tasks including small projects that need quick turnaround.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be experienced in support role ,across listed functional areas ensuring user adoption and

    quick resolution to break fixes and minor enhancements

  • Experience in General SAP and experience in supporting RICEF and EDI

  • Strong analytical skills required including thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements 
  • Small project management skills
  • Utilize process improvement techniques in streamlining existing as well as new business requirements
  • Obtain business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis
  • Translates business information needs into Functional requirements. Reviews/Writes Technical Specifications
  • Analyzes and communicates data usage issues, including problems with data integrity, data design and functional and technical software issues
  • Writes and executes unit and integration tests
  • Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve application optimization and availability
  • Take input from management and appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally
  • Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, and professional
  • Comfortable working in a Team Environment where knowledge sharing is essential
  • Comfortable working with outsourced support organization ( different vendors for different SAP functions

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major in data management or computer science
  • 6+ years of hands on SAP experience in the modules given above
  • Good overall knowledge of ECC 6.0 (or recent release)
  • GMP experience
  • Experience with typical interface techniques
  • Willingness to learn and expand areas of knowledge
  • Experience with Change Control and development lifecycle concepts and methodologies
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, Visio, Project, SharePoint,
  • Fundamental knowledge of SAP principles, approaches, technologies, and architectures required
  • Strong systems analysis skills including the ability to write and revise standards and procedures
  • Strong organization, oral presentation, and written communication skills

 

Preferred Requirements:

 

  • Desired – A foundational background in the Pharma / chemicals industry or a production planner/manager with hands on Support / implementation configuration experience for a few years

  • Experience in SAP support a must, additional experience in implementation a bonus
  • Experience with pharmaceutical industry and computer system validation requirements
  • Manufacturing Experience support
