HRIS Manager

The HRIS Manager is a key functional and technical resource within our organization, responsible for managing and optimizing our Workday system and related tools, processes, and data. As the subject matter expert, you will ensure the effective utilization of Workday to meet organizational needs and objectives. This position involves managing, configuring, integrating, providing technical support, and delivering user training related to the HRIS system.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the “owner” of Workday Core HCM, ensuring accurate configuration, security administration, and business process design.
  • Manage compensation-related processes within Workday.
  • Enhance the overall user experience by optimizing Workday functionality and usability.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and complex reporting tools.
  • Manage and support integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring effective data quality and reliable exchanges.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on Workday features and best practices.
  • Plan and execute the organization’s Workday strategy, including system enhancements, upgrades, and adoption initiatives.
  • Continuously explore and leverage Workday’s capabilities to improve HR processes and drive efficiency.
  • Grow and manage a team of HRIS professionals to support system administration and user needs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Supporting and assisting new product implementation both within Human Resources and outside the department. Work to enhance process management and communication across teams. Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Specific Skills Required: 
Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, directors and other employees. Must have ability to work independently and without supervision. Must have typing skills. Must be experienced with using Microsoft Office suite. Must be well organized and display attention to detail. Must be trustworthy and dependable.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS management, with a focus on Workday. 
  • Workday certification is highly desirable. 
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management. 
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration, security, and reporting. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
