King & Spalding seeks an entry level Recruiting Coordinator to join our Lateral Partner Recruiting & Integration team.  This person, working with others, will coordinate interview schedules for lateral partner candidates and will also assist with various logistics surrounding the lateral partner interview process.

The Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:   
  • Prepares and coordinates multiple candidate interview schedules weekly; anticipates partners’ needs based on calendars and adjusts interview schedules as needed.
  • Coordinates virtual interviews by WebEx and Microsoft Teams; ensures interviews are started and executed flawlessly.
  • Prepares and sends candidate pre-interview materials; updates and maintains candidate materials on an ongoing basis.
  • Sends interview evaluation forms to internal partners and monitors completion of evaluation forms; follows up with partners as needed.
  • Coordinates candidate travel via Travel Department and catering needs for in person interviews and meetings.
  • Coordinates with Lateral Partner Recruiting Directors and Associate Directors during candidate visits to their offices; greets candidates as needed.
  • Works with London Recruiting Manager re: European and Asia lateral partner candidates
  • Maintains lateral partner tracking sheet, including contacting Sponsoring Partners and Lateral Lead for regular updates.
  • Maintains all stats on lateral candidates including start date; position; previous employment, etc.
  • Ensures all lateral partner candidates are entered into tracking database accurately.
  • Coordinates with headhunters when needed and maintains search firm agreements.
  • Processes expense reimbursements and invoices in Chrome River.  
  • Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure all relevant documentation are received for personnel files.
  • Additional duties as requested
Successful candidates must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.  Candidates must be able to communicate well with lawyers, candidates, all levels of administrative staff, and contacts outside the firm.  Candidates should possess excellent facilitation and organizational skills, with the ability to work proactively, to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining poise under pressure.  Attention to detail is highly important in this role.  Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree; law firm and/or professional services experience as well as recruiting experience is preferred.

New York applicants: full-time annualized salary range $69,000 - $82,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
