Mission:

As a FinTech Analyst, you will work with the product team, engineering team and other internal clients and leverage your analytical skills to develop dashboards, reporting products and ultimately insights that solve business problems. You will also get a deep understanding of the e-commerce world with focus on acquiring payments, fraud and risk management and payout solutions. 

What will you do?

  • Filter and “clean” data, help to fix errors and other data-related problems
  • Building ad-hoc reports, identifying new opportunities for the business and closely cooperating with our internal teams
  • Monitor the features after launch (Release is just the beginning. We still need to improve them afterward.)
  • Write a lot of SQL queries to prepare data
  • Prepare reports and dashboards in data visualization tools (Looker is used in kiwi.com)
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Make complex analyses in order to support business decisions and hypotheses
  • Think independently about possible problems and suggest improvements
  • Review the code of your colleagues and brainstorm ideas

What do we expect?

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a data analyst
  • Fluent in SQL
  • Experience with data visualisation tools ( Power BI, GoodData, Looker, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and empathy for the counterpart’s business challenges
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and oral (B2) 
  • Ability to find the middle ground between company strategic goal & operational team challenges
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Great problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Elementary git and python skills
