Provide direct support to the Global Merchandising & Analytics Manager, each Product Business Unit (including Utility) and the VP of Merchandising.  Provide seasonal analysis with forward looking recommendations at each checkpoint in support of the LRP to meet KEEN business and brand goals. Responsible for providing shared service support (line list maintenance, master data development, sku & forecast rationalization, etc) to the KEEN brand as well as Fuerst Group entities as the organization continues to grow and evolve.  Work with Business Units, Merchandising, Project Management, Design and Color to be the point of contact (the “one source of truth”) on product line accuracy primarily with KEEN Operations and Sales Operation but also with the rest of the company as needed.  Provide support and process improvement to the upstream line planning processes and ad-hoc requests as needed.


  • Working with the Global Merchandising & Analytics Manager, act as HQ product’s point of contact for line list management, master data development, sku and forecast rationalization meeting, etc.
  • Provide seasonal analysis with forward looking recommendations around productivity, efficiency, YOY historicals, scenario planning, silhouette, product life cycle, global alignment, long tail analysis, etc.
  • Maintain and improve process and systems to ensure data integrity is high with the data field owners (PLM, BUD’s, Project Management, Design/Color, etc.).
  • Help prepare presentations for specific product line reviews as we work through the life cycle of those lines (stage gate analysis).
  • Help prepare post meeting analysis, results and recommendations for Executive review after each stage gate.
  • Participate in assortment planning and forecasting on a seasonal and monthly basis (bottoms up gut check line planning prior to LR1 & LR2).
  • Compare assortments and forecasts after booking deadlines and provide result driven recommendations to meet business goals.
  • Help schedule and maintain monthly regional deep dive analysis to monitor and report on regional performance from forecast to order book throughout every season.
  • Represent Product Master Data checkpoints in the calendar process in order to align with other departments in achieving seasonal milestones.
  • Show initiative in new project, process and analysis evolution in support of the business.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests as needed by the Global Merchandising & Analytics Manager.


  • 3 or more years of experience as a business analyst or forecasting analyst, preferably in a Product Creation or Merchandising environment.
  • Strong knowledge of KEEN Product, preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Business Objects, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS Sharepoint PowerPoint and SAP. Pivot table savviness a must.
  • Experience in Consumer, Footwear Market Channel and Geographic reporting is very desirable.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, reason logically, draw valid conclusions to assist in business decision making.
  • Ability to present recommendations in a clear and fact based way both oral and written forms.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of data flow and storage in an enterprise database system.
  • Strong understanding of database structure, maintenance and data integrity principles.
  • Experience in implementation, training and support of automated systems.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Outdoor / Footwear industry experience, preferred.
