Kal Tire is one of Canada’s largest independently owned tire dealers; we go beyond tire sales and service to tire recycling and retread. We are looking for Temporary / Contract Tire Retread and Repair Technicians to join our team on Stanfield Road in Mississauga. Our success is built with our team members, and we recognize that with a monthly bonus plan plus other benefits and perks.    
    
Retreading is the process of taking used and worn tires, removing what is left of the remaining tread, then adding a new tread using a similar process to how new tires are made. Kal Tire’s Retread and Repair facilities provide a service that allows our customers to realize the full value of their existing tire assets while helping them reduce the environmental impact of their operations.    
    
Job Responsibilities    
  • Using hand tools to identify and prepare tires for repair.
  • Train to follow established retreading procedure.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a safety mindset and follow all safety procedures.
Job Requirements    
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required.
  • Required ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a high preforming team environment.
  • Drivers License preferred.
