Description

Performance shall include:

  • Provide expert technical knowledge and hands on instruction using government provided training guidance and equipment to expand the knowledge base of EST students on expeditionary Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling combat airman tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Working closely with EST Students and during field training execution/activities review/assess Go/No Go performance of EST students Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling combat airman tactics, techniques and procedures efforts to reach operational compliance measures training objectives
  • Provide input to and review EST expeditionary equipment requirements /acquisition plans; for sustainment of Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling SABC expeditionary training assets
  • Develop and facilitate Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling expeditionary skill exercise scenarios to meet 88th ABW and W-P overall readiness and specific unit objectives
  • AFMAN 31-129, USAF Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling Procedures, provide analytical and expeditionary expertise to ensure delivery of the 88 ABW EST Small Arms and Light Weapons Handling program

 Required Skills:

  • Common experience with the DoD, AF, and joint service expeditionary contingencies and combat/contingency skills training program
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years Small Weapons Instructor experience
  • Self-starter, independent thinker and highly motivated
  • Ability to integrate and work well with others
  • Ability to produce well thought-out and accurate written reports

 Security Clearance:

  • SECRET Security Clearance

 Desirable:

  • Deployed or worked downrange in a deployed theater in support of Oversees Contingency Operations
  • General knowledge of expeditionary skill functions, roles, and war mobilization planning/training
