Summary:
The Regional Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring that the company’s day-to-day operations and growth requirements are supported by Base Maintenance. This involves verifying that activities performed or coordinated by base maintenance personnel provide the necessary support to meet Jet Linx's operational requirements.
 
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  1. Directs the Base Maintenance Managers and provides support, oversight, and guidance to operate their teams efficiently and successfully. 
  2. Resolves matters that require attention from the Base Maintenance Managers and the technicians for all company departments to ensure the operation is fully supported.
  3. Manage base logistics and capital requests at base locations including management of tooling and materials required to support efficient regional activities.
  4. Communicate and conduct meetings with aircraft owners in support of technical and/or billing details.
  5. Manage maintenance department budgets within the assigned region.
  6. In collaboration with the Director of Maintenance, National Maintenance Director, and Director of Quality, define and/or enhance processes and procedures and verify they are being followed. 
  7. Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values. 
  8. Responsible for on-site visits to all base locations within the assigned region as needed. 
  9. Support and collaborate with various departments as needed or requested.
  10. Regular and predictable on-site attendance.  
  11. Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative to research and resolve problems.
  • Sufficient corporate aircraft knowledge.
  • Strong ability to procure and understand aviation industry information and requirements that is pertinent for company growth and expansion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn and utilize a multitude of computer base programs.
  • Experience with Traxxall, CAMP or maintenance specific applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company, company vendors and customers. 
  • Must be able to work weekends and variable shifts as well as occasional overtime.
  • Must be able to travel for training or other company requirements.
  • Operate office equipment as needed.
 
Education and Work Experience: 
  • Must hold a current mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant (A&P) ratings with:  A minimum of two years’ experience maintaining 14 CFR Part 135 aircraft certificated airframe repair station, including 1 year in the capacity of approving aircraft for return to service.
And   
  • Within the preceding 24 months, that person has had at least six months experience with either inspection, maintenance or return to service of an aircraft or system in accordance with the privileges granted by the license held.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.   
  • At least 2-5 years corporate aircraft.  
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis.
Documentation Requirements: 
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
