Director of Aircraft Management Sales

Description

The Aircraft Management salesperson provides leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing efforts related to managed aircraft in the BOS market, develops, maintains and implements sales and marketing strategies while monitoring and analyzing activities against goals.  This will be accomplished by performing the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate managed aircraft sales and marketing functions
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
  • Direct market efforts to identify and develop new customers while retaining existing customers
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing and new project development
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results
  • Directly manage client accounts
  • Participate in the development of new managed aircraft proposals
  • Establish and implement short and long term goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance and delivery of sales materials and promotional programs
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations
  • Develop and implement short and long term departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Become knowledgeable of and uphold Company policies and procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relations efforts

Education and Work Experience:

  • Five years managerial experience, preferably in the Aviation industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Aviation, preferred
  • Willing to consider equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience developing, negotiating, finalizing and implementing contracts
  • Prior high-end/executive level sales and public contact experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment
  • Communicate through verbal, written and/or electronic means
  • Operate office equipment such as telephone, computer, printer, fax, postage meter, etc.
  • Move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
  • Access filing cabinets, drawers and shelves of varying heights
  • Travel to various locations within community, state and country
