POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:Laundry Technician

LOCATION:Ottumwa, IA

SALARY CLASS:Salary Non-Exempt

Division/Department: Pork

Responsibilities:

•                   Run industrial washers and dryers
•                   Heavy Lifting
•                   Maintain store room/laundry area in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition
•                   Collect, and redistribute supplies to employees
•                   Data/order entry with accuracy
•                   Provide backup for Knife Room Attendant/Store Room Attendant
•                   Perform various duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

•                   Production and maintenance settings
•                   Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives
•                   Slippery floors, extreme temperature and loud noises (PPE required in these areas)

Education:  

•                   High School degree or equivalent required

Requirements Preferred:   

•                   Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skill
•                   Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
•                   Ability to work under pressure
•                   Great customer service skills and professional demeanor
•                   Computer knowledge required
