The Learning & Development Manager will play an important role in the employee lifecycle as the steward of our learning and growth programs while partnering strongly with our parent company JBS. 
This individual will also be playing a role in strategizing organizational development, people development, and technical skills growth initiatives while acting as a strategic partner of our L&D strategies. The success of this role is dependent on building and cultivating synergy between our field and corporate teams. This role embodies the excitement of our learning culture and how we serve the communities we are a part of. This role delivers business-focused, efficient, and innovative learning and development programs and experiences, thoughtfully designed to help our employees at every stage of their career. The role will also focus and manage our social goods programs and activities for our local community in efforts to give back.

This is an in-office role based in Doral, FL, with up to 40% travel to field.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Partner with Operations and HR Leaders in the field to better understand their training and development needs.
  • Design and implement training programs for new employees and current employees
  • Set strategy for and work with regional teams to execute standards training programs across the nation
  • Design and implement team building programs around food, culinary, that can help us to reinforce our values (“Love to Cook, Love to Eat”)
  • Manage training budget and vendors properly
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate company-wide training programs with an increased focus on virtual design and delivery
  • Design, develop and implement experiential learning activities
  • Analyze training evaluations to modify and improve existing programs and/or develop new training programs
  • Create and distribute marketing documents for training programs
  • Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations
  • Support the development and maintenance of Culture & Talent team processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the management of the budget for training programs

  • Completion of designated training modules 
  • Identification and execution of succession planning 
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor in Human Resources, Education or related fields required
  • 7+ years of previous facilitation experience or training in an adult learning environment preferred; experience in curriculum design and/or development also preferred
  • Knowledge of retail sales and experience of working as a Retail Trainer preferred
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • Management Systems (Canvas, Alchemy for instance)
  • Excellent motivation skills required
  • Ability to manage full training cycle such as conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent technical skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and HR-SAP).
